The
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, and
our cosponsors, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The
University of Alabama, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at
The University of Alabama in Huntsville, are underwriting the
conference expenses in order to keep the registration fee to an
affordable $95 per person. All sessions are held at the Hotel at
Auburn University Hotel/Dixon Conference Center, with a opening night
reception at the nearby Auburn University Alumni Center. Luncheon on
Thursday and breakfast on Friday are also included.
See the brochure for more details.
All interested people are invited to participate in the program, including those people interested in starting an institute for lifelong learning. Although it is designated as a southern conference, learners from any state are welcome. A registration form is available here that you may print out and mail in, or you may register online. The conference schedule will be available in June. The conference begins after lunch on Wednesday, July 29, with an opening session at 1:00 p.m. We will conclude the meeting with a closing session ending at 12:00 noon, on Friday, July 31.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Auburn University Hotel for a special conference rate of $96 per night, deluxe double or single, rate good through July 15. Participants should make reservations online, or by calling 1-800-228-2876
